The school was awarded for “Extraordinary Commitment To Rural Education” during 5th Eduleaders Summit and Awards 2020. The school has equipped with all modern labs including Maths Lab, Science Lab and Computer Lab. It has activity Center for Music, Dance & Theater. Suri Foundation established in September, 2016 is a charitable Trust registered under Public Trust Act 1882, aims in bringing socio-economic and cultural transformation through education. Education is a potential force to bring empowerment of younger generations from cross-sections of the society. Motivated with the idea that education plays a key role in bringing change and development, a flagship school project called Kosi Valley International School was conceptualized to launch at Purnia, in the heartland of the Kosi region of Bihar in order to impart education to the younger generations of the area at an affordable cost. Role of the State is to provide education to all, and the state machinery is successfully doing that with its commendable infrastructure and political will. However, quality education is being imparted by select few i.e., by committed people from non-governmental sector and private institutions. Though, it is a hard fact that most of the private schools are hardly equipped to impart quality education to masses. The well off people of the area, in search of quality education, send their children to Patna and elsewhere in our country. However, the majority of the people can not afford to send their wards for quality education to the elite schools of the country or to the schools which charge hefty sums. There is overall dearth of quality institutions in the area to provide reach and equity to masses. The demand for quality education is ever increasing but the aspirations of the people for availing quality education remains mostly unfulfilled. Kosi Valley International School is a humble effort in that direction. It will not only fill the void but would be committed to fulfillment of the educational needs of the people of the area. The School will have a focus to empower young generations and arouse quality consciousness by providing the taste of quality education from cross-section of the community and society. The school would be a mainstream school and would provide broad-based and value-based inclusive education. It is a mammoth task but with concerted effort of the conscious and conscientious segment of society it can certainly be achieved.

'Rural Education Mission' under which school has adopted S. D. Harit Modern School, Kohand village, Haryana to improve the quality of education in the remote areas and 'Hope For the Future' which targets the upliftment of the lesser privileged children in our society and competency based international exchange programs are seamlessly built into formal education imparted to our learners.
