The Olympiads is open to school children of classes 1 to 12 through CSC online network through more than 5 lakh+ Village Level Entrepreneurs across the country. The initiative was launched by CEO, CSC SPV, who said: “Through CSC Olympiads, we are providing students in rural areas a platform to test their academic outcomes. Moreover, this will also inculcate a competitive spirit among the students and help them prepare better in future competitive examinations.”

 

CSC Academy - CSC Academy is a publicly invested learning institution established by CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd which is a SPV under Ministry of Electronics & IT, Govt of India. CSC Academy provides access to professional learning for learners of diverse back grounds and educational needs. The Academy is further committed to teaching, delivering of specialized courses/ training programmes, leadership, communication skills and promotion of entrepreneurship among the rural masses in India.

Note : Students login id with password will be sent to their registered mail id in September after their successful registration. As login details are system generated and send to students registered mail id and mobile number so need your coordination on time to avoid any confusion at later stage.The same login id of students will work for final examination. Students/Parents are requested to use the same login id for practice tests, Final exams, for any notification(click bell button) and to download participation certificate. The student can login by any smartphone /tablet /laptop /desktop /any other similar device to practice mock tests and thereafter appear for final exams. Information

• CSC Olympiad 4.0 exam is available in 5 languages - Hindi, English, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil. Registered students have to select the language while login. Registration  are open and Login Details with Practice Test Activation has been sent to all registered students. Practice Test will be disabled as soon as final test starts.

• CSC Olympiad 4.0 Exam Schedule will be flashed on cscolympiad website.

• Registration charges are INR 150/- per student per subject

• Last year around 150+ students awarded with Laptops, tablets and Mobile phones  and 5000+ students were felicitated with appreciation certificates across India

• Appreciation certificate to all students who scored 70% and above

• Recognition to schools, principals and teacher coordinators

• Examination will be taken through online proctoring system so student has the flexibility to appear for examination from any location

Final exams will be online proctored.

How to Enrol?

• School has to fill up the participant details in the prescribed excel sheet format.

• A Requisite fee has to be deposited to provide students login id and activate mock tests. The same login id of students will work for final examination. Students login id with password will be sent to their registered mail id and mobile number with in two working days of their successful registration.

• The student can login by any smartphone/tablet/laptop/desktop/any other similar device to practice mock tests and thereafter appear for final exams. It is advised to use laptop / desktop or any other large screen device to appear for final exams.

• A student consent form is given for circulating to students or an online link can also be given for registering the students. 

• Students have to fill out a student registration form to apply directly.

Conceptual Knowledge

The need for conceptual knowledge in the school ecosystem is not felt till the students start preparing for competitive/proficiency exams, where the questions asked are not the same, as they are taught in the classroom. It assists student to get prepared for NTSE, KVPY , IIT/JEE, NEET, CLAT and Others. Keeping in mind future aspects, the questions are designed conceptual in nature and requires a different level of engagement with the subject. It is therefore necessary that students get an early experience of similar kind of questions and develop competency.

 

Grade Level Learning

The tests are grade appropriate. This essentially means that the conceptual level as given in the curriculum framework is kept in mind. The CBSE syllabus is the cornerstone of all the tests and all the tests are pedagogically robust. Also individual subject coherence has been maintained. In Mathematics longitudinal fidelity, in English LSRW frame work and in Science, causal and concrete to abstract structure.

Multiple Reports

5 Mock Tests is provided with each subscription/plan and provide detailed performance reports on the Scores, Speed, Correct Answers, Response Analysis and Rank. Also, as the student keeps on taking tests, a Progress Report is given to see the improvement. These reports serve as a sign board for a student to have a realistic understanding of the performance and future improvement.

Students studying in the schools have a tremendous pressure of studying multiple subjects, doing class work, homework, taking formative and summative tests and more. We are making an effort that these Olympiads encourage students to think deeply and get foundational clarity by solving problems, with graded difficulty. Examination Execution Process

​

• Remote Proctoring online Platform will be used for fare assessment.

• The exam will be conducted in a highly secured environment on cloud.

• This will be a timed and open test.

• You can practise test with sample questions.

• The exam will be a remote proctored examination.

• The application will capture and verify digital identification as verification.

• Candidate needs to login using his/her login credentials. (ID and password).

• It tracks candidate's face and also tracks if there is any doubt of proxy or more than one candidate taking test i.e. impersonation will be auto flagged and test will be paused until candidate resume on its genuine position.

• The application tracks activity on the user's monitor screen, provides warning or terminates the test if any unwarranted application is opened during the test. i.e. browsing tolerance will be zero during the test

• Exams are displayed full-screen browser and cannot be minimized. And if its done test will be treated as finished.

• Exams cannot be exited until submitted by users.

• Switching between tests or access to other applications is prohibited.

• Print, Print Screen and capturing functions are disabled.

• Copying and pasting anything to and from an assessment is prohibited.

• Right-click menu options and function keys are disabled.

• Audio and video chat streaming to proctor the exam remotely.

• High speed internet, webcam and power back up is must during the test.

• USB, VGA and HDMI projection will not be possible.
